New CEO Appointed ~A new chapter of growth and community impact
211 Palm Beach and Treasure Coast appoints Ty Barnes as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Barnes brings more than 25 years of business leadership experience, a decade of board service, and a deep commitment to 211’s mission of connecting people to essential health and human services.
Barnes’s connection to 211 began more than 15 years ago. “When my mother was ill, I learned firsthand about the programs that could help families like mine,” says Barnes. “What began with volunteering on an event planning committee grew into a lifelong passion for 211’s mission and the difference it makes every day.”
Born and raised in Vero Beach, Barnes has spent his career serving the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast communities. “I am inspired daily by the dedication of our team and the countless lives we touch. It is a true privilege to lead this mission-driven organization into its next chapter,” Barnes says.
Barnes plans to oversee the creation of a new, state-of-the-art storm-rated facility and has prioritized technology upgrades to expand 211’s reach and impact.
“We are strengthening our foundation—through people, facilities, and technology—to ensure that anyone in need can access help quickly, easily, and with dignity,” adds Barnes.
