Six nonprofits receive funding as Impact the Palm Beaches celebrates a decade of support

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla (CBS12) — An inspiring evening of philanthropy and community celebration as Impact the Palm Beaches marked its 10th anniversary with a grant award ceremony on Wednesday night.

The event held at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach showcased six local nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in need.

During the ceremony, attendees learned about the incredible work being done by these organizations.

Impact the Palm Beaches members and ceremony guests had the opportunity to vote on the distribution of funding, with a total of $358,000 awarded to support vital community programs. This milestone brings the organization's total grant contributions to over $2 million, reinforcing its commitment to driving positive change.

Each of the six finalist was given time to present their initiatives, allowing attendees to gain deeper insight into their work. Representatives from Adopt a Family of the Palm Beaches, Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Families First of Palm Beach County, Hispanic Human Resources Council, Roots and Wings, and YWCA Palm Beach County shared how the grants would help further their missions.

The evening also served as a moment of recognition for the women of Impact the Palm Beaches, whose dedication has fueled the nonprofit’s mission and their collective efforts in shaping impactful projects, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and shared vision in philanthropy.

$19,333 Merit Award Recipients:
