Cara MacVane received her degree in communications and marketing from Florida Atlantic University and has been a public relations professional since 1999. After working for nine years with one of the top fundraising and public relations firms in Palm Beach County, she established CKM Consultants- a public relations firm providing strategic marketing and media relations to businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Cara delivers creative public relations solutions to her clients with high-energy and a dignified persistence aimed at improving revenues and corporate imaging. Her goal is to help each client grow and succeed through publicity, community education and outreach. She is adept at providing a full range of services from media relations to communicating with a company’s crucial “insiders.” Cara has worked with companies and charities of all sizes in a variety of industries – including, healthcare, cultural and high-end retail, education, specialized law practices, authors and some of the most noteworthy nonprofits in South Florida.
