A performance by actor/singer Robert Davi highlighted an event to thank the supporters of the LIFE Foundation.

LIFE’s Epic Evening took place March 23 in at The Colony.

Lois Pope was chairwoman and hostess for the event, which began with a poolside cocktail reception, then moved to the Royal Room for dinner and a sing-along to The Way You Look Tonight and It’s De-Lovely led by Pope, Dr. Rob Mackler, and Jan and Chip Malley.

Not exactly ABBA, but they weren’t bad at all.

After dinner, entertainment chairwoman Sunny Sessa introduced Davi, who performed the hits of Frank Sinatra.

Davi is an award-winning actor, screenwriter, director, producer and jazz vocalist and one of the top vocalists in interpreting the Great American Songbook.

His debut album, Davi Sings Sinatra: On the Road to Romance, produced by Phil Ramone, was No. 6 on Billboard’s Jazz Charts.

His film roles include the opera-singing baddie in The Goonies; the villain Franz Sanchez in Licence to Kill; FBI Special Agent Big Johnson in Die Hard; Al Torres in Showgirls and, most recently, Leo Marks in The Iceman.

More than 100 people attended.

LIFE’s s 22nd annual Lady in Red Gala will take place Dec. 5 at The Mar-a-Lago Club. Masquerade Risque will feature entertainment by comedian Howie Mandel and vocalists Will and Anthony Nunziata.
